ABOUT
Take Shape is a nonfiction publication at the intersection of leftist politics and the built environment. At four years old, it is a chaotic toddler feeling its way around new spaces. We, its editors, are a collective of artists, writers, and activists seeking to define questions more than to provide answers. We respond to the present moment in due course, aiming to imagine and fortify change without relying on a fleeting news cycle or the whims of advertisers. With past issues exploring the history of loft housing and the current state of public transit, we’re more interested in the users of spaces than in their owners or creators.
Editors: Nolan Boomer, Cole Cataneo, Julia Goodman, and Benjamin Good
Guest Editor: Paolo Yumol
Art and Layout: Sean Suchara
Web: Benjamin Good
